The Sunny Acre Farms Midgets weren't quite ready at puckdrop last night at Moldmaster. Brampton dominated the first period and built a early 2-0 lead pleasing their very enthusiastic fans. Tyler Skilling cut the lead in half early in the second from Billy Taylor and Nick Lencz, but three unanswered Brampton goals gave the visitors a commanding 5-1 lead after two. The Thunder did play a much better third but were only able to score once, Jeremy Roach from Matthew McDonough. Final Score 5-2. Game three is tomorrow night 7:15 at Earnscliffe.

The Sunny Acre Farms Midgets tied game one vs Brampton 2-2 yesterday afternoon. Thunder goaltender Spencer McPherson stopped 40 of 42 shots including two breathtaking saves late it overtime to preserve the tie. After falling behind 2-0, Braydon O'Connell kept the puck in and his point shot found the back of the net, 2-1. Then Billy Taylor set up Tyler Skilling on the PP and his clapper was too much for the Brampton goalie to handle, 2-2 after 2 periods. Brampton had pressure in the third but couldn't beat McPherson. Both teams had chances in OT but time ran out, final score 2-2.

Tyler Skilling had 2 goals and an assist, including the winner, while Nick Boshart scored 1 and assisted on 2.
