Deadlines
Players intending to Tryout for Rep/MD Hockey - In order to be eligible for tryouts for, all players must be registered through the HHMH/HCR registry and paid in full. See table below for fees.
Players Intending to Tryout for Select Hockey (House League) - Tryouts will be after Rep/MD Tryouts. Look for more information closer to September in our news feeds on the home page.

New to Hockey? New to Town?
For
new players to Halton Hills Minor Hockey (HHMH), when registering, you will also require to:
1. Provide a copy of their birth certificate to the Registrar . This can be mailed to
26 College St. Georgetown ON L7G 2N7 or scanned and
emailed to our Registrar, Geraldine Hardcastle.
2. Registration is done completely (and only) online. Payment, however, may be made online with a credit card, cheque or Interac e-transfer (see below for details).
3. Any player who has been registered with another association, must
contact the Registrar to obtain a Transfer Form.

You must also complete Respect in Sport - Parent. See below for details.

In an ongoing effort to foster as a safe and enjoyable environment for all our players, Hockey Canada and the OMHA has mandated that one parent from each family will complete the RESPECT IN SPORT-PARENTS online course as a condition of the child's registration and participation in hockey. This course takes approximately one hour to complete and is of no cost to the parent. It only is has to be completed once as it is a non-recurring requirement. NOTE: Respect in Sport - Activity Leader used for Team Officials, Game Officials or Volunteers does not count towards credit for Respect in Sport - Parents. It MUST be taken separately.
During the registration process you will be asked for Pre-Registration Code. This code is HHM-Y6R4N8B (case sensitive and not copied and pasted). Enter when required as it cannot be added once registration is complete.

Divisions for 2020-2021
To determine which division your child will play in you can reference the age chart from the OMHA (Ontario Minor Hockey Association) website. Also, there is a Hockey Stream chart provided under Programs > Hockey Streams.

Interested in Trying Out for the Halton Hurricanes AAA Team?
Any player who is interested in trying our for the Halton Hurricanes AAA team:
1. Must be registered with HHMH prior to tryouts.
2. Must complete a 2020-2021 Permission to Skate form. (CLICK HERE FOR FORM)
NOTE 1: Please do not pay any fees to HHMH until after AAA TRY-OUTS. Instead simply register (and select Tryout Card as well to ensure early bird rate) and select pay by cheque to avoid having to re-reimburse any successful AAA players. If released, please remit payment as soon as possible to HHMH as per instructions on fee table. If you pay by credit card and subsequently selected by the AAA team you are subject to a $25 admin fee to process your refund from HHMH.

Payment
1. Directly with Credit Card or Visa/Debit when registering with Hockey Canada.
2. e-Transfer (Interac)
e-Transfer (Interac) payment is an option for all transactions. To use this option, the following instructions must be used:
1. Select "Cheque" for payment option and finish transaction.
2. Note amount required to pay via "cheque"
3. e-Transfer recipient must be [email protected]
4. Notes section of the e-transfer must include:
a. Player's First and Last Name
b. Player's date of birth.
c. Division playing in (e.g. Atom)
d. Invoice from Hockey Canada Registry at checkout above
5. Security question answer will be as per instructions in waiver when registering on HCR.

Note 1: Modified-Ice programs as per Hockey Canada and OMHA.
Note 2: Depending on numbers, Senior hockey may envelope U16 to U21 (to be determined after enrolment)
Note 3: From U14 to U18 there is an opportunity to try out for a Minor Development (non-contact) League during tryouts.
Basic Fees apply to any rostered HHMH player.
Players that tryout for Rep/MD programs must pay the registration fee before first tryout. Payment must be received by before trying out.
There are additional fees required for Rep, MD and Select dependent on budget.
Players not attending a Tryout, you may pay by post-dated cheque. Please date cheque no later than August 15, 2020.

If House League is full, late registrants will be put on a waiting list in numbered order by the data base and if space permits, will be assigned to a team at the discretion of the appropriate Director of Hockey.
Reimbursement of Fees
1. Basic registration fees for any player who, for any reason, ceases to play in the HHMH prior to August 15 (Season Start), will upon application, be reimbursed full fees paid minus a $25.00 administration fee.
2. Basic registration fees for any player who ceases to play in the HHMH between August 15 and October 15th, will upon application, be reimbursed on a prorated basis less a 10% administration fee.
3. After October 15th money will be refunded on a prorated basis only to players who have a medically supported injury and can no longer play. or a player who moves out of the area.
N.S.F. Cheque Charge
There will be a NSF charge assessed for any cheque returned by the bank. This fee will be in accordance with bank charges.
Registration Process for 2020-21 Season
Due to Rowan's Law and for effective communication with HHMH members, we are implementing a multi-step process for registration.
1. All Parent/Guardians on behalf of the players:
A. Click the link below to fill out Step 1 Form.
B. Sign off on code of conduct (must be clicked as acknowledged)
C. Sign off on Rowan's Law completion (must be clicked as acknowledged)
D. Clicking submit on the form will take you to HCR registration page.
2. Spring Tryouts are for U12-18 players ONLY. When registering:
A. Remember to register and pay for registration prior to April 15, 2020. (Do not just buy a Tryout Card)
B. Remember to purchase a Tryout Card (Prices increase for Tryout cards purchased after April 15)
C. AAA players do not pay by credit card. Use 'cheque' option or you may be subject to $25 admin fee for the refund on a credit card.
NOTE: For registration, we are not accepting payment at this time. However, registration is still possible. Simply select "Other" as the form of payment.
