Halton Hills Minor Hockey Registration


Players intending to Tryout for Rep Hockey - In order to be eligible for spring tryouts, all players trying out for Representative Hockey, must be paid in full (early bird fee) and registered through the HHMH registry by April 15, 2017.  See table below for fees.

Players Intending to Tryout for Select Hockey (House League) - Tryouts will should be in Sept 2017. Look for more information closer to the Tryouts.  Be sure to check out our news feeds closer to the dates.



New to Hockey?  New to Town?

For new players to Halton Hills Minor Hockey (HHMH), when registering, you will also require to:

1. Provide a copy of their birth certificate to the Registrar .  This can be mailed to 26 College St. Georgetown ON L7G 2N7 or scanned and emailed to our Registrar, Geraldine Hardcastle.

2. Registration is done completely (and only) online. Payment, however, may be made online with a credit card or cheque (see below for details).

3. Any player who has been registered with another association, must contact the Registrar to obtain a Transfer Form.

In an ongoing effort to foster as a safe and enjoyable environment for all our players, Hockey Canada and the OMHA has mandated that one parent from each family will complete the RESPECT IN SPORT-PARENTS online course as a condition of the child's registration and participation in hockey.  This course takes approximately one hour to complete and is of no cost to the parent.  It only is has to be completed once as it is a non-recurring requirement.  Click here for Respect in Sport for Hockey Canada Parents.

Respect in Sport - Activity Leader used for Team Officials, Game Officials or Volunteers does not count towards credit for Respect in Sport - Parents.  It MUST be taken separately.

During the registration process you will be asked for Pre-Registration Code.  This code is HHM-Y6R4N8B (case sensitive and not copied and pasted).  Enter when required as it cannot be added once registration is complete.

Divisions for 2017-2018


To determine which division your child will play in you can reference the AGE CHART from the OMHA (Ontario Minor Hockey Association) website. Note: the age chart may show for 2016-2017 season.  Simply move up one level for next year if it is not updated.  Also, there is a Hockey Stream chart provided under Programs > Hockey Streams.


Interested in Trying Out for the Halton Hills Hurricanes AAA Team?

Any player who is interested in trying our for the Halton Hills Hurricanes AAA team:

1. Must be registered with HHMH prior to tryouts.
2. Must complete a 2018-2019 Permission to Skate form.
3. Please do not pay any fees until after AAA TRY-OUTS

Early Bird Deadline is April 15th, 2017

Basic Fees for any rostered HHMH player (unless in Hockey Skills Program only)

Players that try-out for Rep or Select Programs must pay registration before first try-out. (For Rep, this should be by April 15th)

There are additional fees for Rep and Select depending on budget will be required.

Players that do not attend tryout for Rep may pay by post-dated cheque. Please date cheque no later than August 15, 2017

Hockey Initiation Program



Hockey Skills Program when affiliated with House League or Hockey Initiation Program



10 optional ice sessions.

Over and above the House League fees. Choose this when registering for House League. This program is a great way to augment the House League Program an increase your player's skills.

Hockey Skills Stand Alone Program only

(available from Initiation to PeeWee)

For players to learn the basic skills of hockey without being rostered or play on any team.

Online Tryout Cards must be purchased by April 15th, 2017.

Note: Thank you to all the players in Midget to Juvenile still playing with HHMH.  The further discounted early bird fee is applied directly for you in light of your support of the great game of Hockey in Halton Hills and Canada.  We welcome you once again, and if this is your last year able to play, we hope you continue to play in other adult and recreational leagues in the years to come!





If House League is full, late registrants will be put on a waiting list in numbered order by the data base and if space permits, will be assigned to a team at the discretion of the appropriate Director of Hockey.




Reimbursement of Fees

1. Basic registration fees for any player who, for any reason, ceases to play in the HHMH prior to August 15 (Season Start), will upon application, be reimbursed full fees paid minus a $25.00 administration fee.

2. Basic registration fees for any player who ceases to play in the HHMH between August 15 and October 15th, will upon application, be reimbursed on a prorated basis less a 10% administration fee.

3. After October 15th money will be refunded on a prorated basis only to players who have a medically supported injury and can no longer play. or a player who moves out of the area.


N.S.F. Cheque Charge

There will be a NSF charge assessed for any cheque returned by the bank.  This fee will be in accordance with bank charges.

When you sign in to Hockey Canada to register, please ensure your account email is up to date and correctly typed in. 
This ensure you get a receipt promptly emailed to you as well as allow for proper email communications.
