Welcome to volunteering with Halton Hills Minor Hockey! Without Volunteers, it would be impossible for HHMH to operate.

Please complete the application form if you are interested in becoming a Volunteer.  We are always looking for engaged individuals in House League for Coaching and Convening.

If you plan on working with players in any way, you must:

1. Obtain a new police clearance from Halton Regional Police Service, including Vulnerable Sector Screening) - Renewed every 3 years. (see below)
2. Take the Respect in Sport course for Activity Leaders (see below).

Police Records Check for all Volunteers Working with Players

NOTE: A Police Check/vulnerable sector screen, is valid for 3 years.  It must be renewed after that.

They can now be done online!  Don't delay as the turnaround time can be weeks.



Gender Expression

All Team Officials (Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Trainers and Managers) are required to complete Understanding Discrimination based on Gender Identity and Gender Expression and a Guide to the Dressing Room Policy and Confidentiality Statement modules that form the Gender Identity and Expression Course.

These modules are NOT optional and are required to be taken if you are or plan on being a Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Trainer or Manager for any Rep, Select or House League Team. Again, you must take this course.
