Caledon clinches quarter final birth!
The Caledon Hawks clinched an OMHA quarter final birth with a 5-2 victory over Halton Hills on Monday night.
For the second game in a row the Thunder Scored first, Billy Taylor from Tyler Skilling and Anthony Barone. Caledon tied it before the end of the first and poured it on in the second taking a 3-1 lead to the intermission.
Midway through the third Barone scored to make it 3-2, but Caledon scored twice late to earn the victory and move on to the OMHA Playdowns. Tyler Wise was outstanding in net stopping 39 of 44 shots to give Halton Hills a chance.
The Thunder still have 2 round robin games to play before the Tri-County league playoffs start in early February.
