Sarge gets Hattrick in 4-3 win!
Hilton Hills Thunder forward Dylan Sargent scored three goals to help his team win 4-3 last night in Oakville. Hilton Hills jumped out to an early 2-0 lead on Sargent's first two goals the first one unassisted, and the second from Marks and Pries, as they dominated the first period before allowing Oakville to get back into the game with a goal in the final minute. Tommy Garron gave the Thunder a 3-1 lead in the second from Harbinson and Brown and they seemed to be in control. The third period saw The Rangers score a short handed goal with five minutes remaining to make it a one goal game again but Sargent scored his third from Hodgins and Pries to restore the two goal lead. Oakville did manage to score a late goal with the goalie out but time ran out and the Thunder won 4-3.
The Sunny Acre Farms Midgets next game is tonight at Alcott. 8:00pm vs Niagara
