This was a great
game to watch! Having a great opponent
in front of you makes you play the best game you can.
All season long we have been evenly matched
with the Flyers and this game was no different.
We lost in overtime but there is nothing to be ashamed about…the team
came to play and someone has to win.
There was no score in the game until about 3 minutes left in the third when the Flyers popped one in. With about one and a half minutes left David passed to Drew who passed it up the wall to Erik. Erik skated and dekied around their defense, flanked by Michael. The goalie wasn’t sure who was going to shoot. Erik kept the puck, deking out the goalie and back handed the puck over the goalie’s shoulder and in!
Well played by all!
The game went into overtime and the Flyers managed to get another in…we’ll see them again soon for a rematch!
A great game in goal for Connor as well! Great saves throughout the game!
