House League Update
Submitted By Steve Nelson on Wednesday, October 28, 2020
To all House League Parents: First off, we want to thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through all the changes in protocols and deal with the ever-changing landscape of this COVID pandemic.

In the last month, we are all aware of where the Province/Region/Town are in regards to rolling back (or partial) to Stage 2.  The back and forth created many changes with ice time allotments and many revisions to scheduling.  Unlike other years, we also have to ensure and roster each house league team individually to ensure contact tracing protocols.  Combined with participant’s decisions to participate as player or coaching staff, we are working hard to get all the positions filled and teams made.

With all of this combined, it has caused HHMH to further delay the House League Program until we can ensure that everyone is placed on a team, rostered correctly with the proper bench staff and all parties involved trained/informed on safety protocols.  As a result, we are pushing back the start of House League to Nov 4th to Nov 8th, however; until we get everyone rostered correctly we cannot start.  We still need some coaches in all age groups and definitely require TRAINERS in ALL age groups.

For Health Screening protocols and requirements for each on-ice session,  we are looking for one parent volunteer PER TEAM to be responsible for player/participant sign in and contact tracing.  For this, you will be trained with a Zoom call on how to do this.

Again, thanks for your understanding.
