Update for our HHMH Membership

Good Evening HHMH Volunteers and Families,

As promised, we are updating everyone regarding the current stage we are in to proceed with hockey.  Halton Hills Minor Hockey has discussed, with the Town of Halton Hills, our options for continuing to proceed with our program. Unfortunately, we are challenged with cutting back our teams from 20 players on the ice to 10 including coaches, in order to meet the current Provincial Covid-19 guidelines. That being said, the Halton Hills Minor Hockey Board is pausing the program effective Tuesday November 17th through to Monday November 23rd.

This pause is necessary to allow us to work with the Town of Halton Hills, in order to secure more ice and look at all of our options moving forward. While we remain optimistic in moving forward, all options at this time are being considered. We will take this week to work on all plans necessary for ice and modifying the program for proper delivery of programming, and to work with our Town on the necessary requirements needed. The health and safety of our players, volunteer and families remains our top priority. We understand the physical and mental health benefits that sports brings to our children and will do our best to deliver a program.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this very difficult time. We will update our membership on Sunday November 22nd.

Stay safe.

Yours in Hockey,

HHMH Board of Executives
