Flamborough Year End Showcase - Gold Medal Winners
Congratulations to our U12BB Team for coming home with Gold!
The U12BB Halton Hills Thunder Team fought hard for their win on Sunday, April 2nd against the Burlington Bulldogs.
The team had 3 games in the round robin resulting in 2 losses and 1 win, a 4-3 loss to Burlington, 3-0 win over Flamborough Sabres and 6-1 loss to London Bandits.
During the semi-final game match up, seeded 4th, they dominated and took control with 2 goals in the second period, one being the short handed game winning goal! They won the semi against London 2-0, moving them forward to the final.
In the final match vs Burlington Bulldogs once again, they landed the first goal and ended the first period tied 2:2. The second period they held their own and went into the third scoring to make it 3:2 and didn't stop there, winning the game 5:3. Sweet victory for this great team!
This is U12BB second tournament win this year. They brought home the gold in December after winning the Belle River Memorial Championship.
