PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!
General
Purchase of the Evaluation/Tryout Card: All players must purchase a card prior to any skate. This is done via online with Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) only. Payment will be required upon purchase via credit card only.
Evaluation/Tryout cards are non-refundable unless extenuating circumstances are approved by the Board.
IMPORTANT:
ONLY PURCHASE MULTIPLE TRYOUT CARDS IF YOU INTEND TO GO TO ALL DIVISIONS. For instance, if you commit to the "AA" team, you will NOT be refunded for the "A" and "B" card. We recommend you purchase one division at a time. Cards will be available online prior to the start of all division tryouts.
CARDS WILL NOT BE SOLD AT THE GATE
All players must purchase a tryout card to participate in evaluations.
U10 to U18 Rep and Adv. League Tryout cards are priced at $70 per division (level) and are required for each of the following levels:
- AA (Representative Level)
- A (Representative Level)
- B/BB (Representative Level)
- Advanced League (House League Select/Development Level)
- U8MD and U9MD are $110 (one fee covers all Tiers)
Terms & Conditions
Tryout Card Requirement
- Every player must purchase a tryout card for the division in which they are trying out.
- A tryout card grants access to all tryout sessions for that specific division.
Moving Between Divisions
- Example - If a player purchases an AA tryout card and is released, they must purchase a tryout card for the next division before attending further tryouts.
- Players cannot transfer a tryout card from one division to another; a new card must be purchased if moving to a different level.
Open Division Tryouts
- Players are allowed to try out for any division they choose, if they have purchased the corresponding tryout card.
- A tryout card is not a guarantee of making a team at any level. Selections will be made based on player evaluations.
4. Refund Policy
- Tryout cards are non-refundable unless extenuating circumstances are approved by Halton Hills Minor Hockey.
5. Registration & Payment
- Tryout cards must be purchased before attending any tryout session at least 24 hours in advanced.
- Registration and payment are available online through the official Halton Hills Minor Hockey website.
- For each purchase, there will be a short questionnaire to fill out The email provided by you will be the one that is used for any communication during an evaluation period. This email will be used to ensure communication from the team coach and will also be used to convey your evaluation/tryout number (TTN) for the HHMH website.
- You can only sign up for your age group. For example, you will not be able to buy a U10 Tryout Card if you are U9 for the 2025/26 Season. If you want to attempt a tryout with a higher age group, this must be approved by the Board.
