Four unanswered goals in third!!
After struggling to score goals and dropping three of their first four OMHA Prelim games The Trends Thunder scored four times in the final period last night at Alcott, earning a 5-1 victory over visiting Orangeville. Leading the way offensively was defenceman Justin Leblanc with 1g2a, including the Gatorade goal five minutes into the third from Nolan Cree. Also scoring for Halton Hills was Birthday boy Brady Worthman, Nick Theim, Dylan Verboon and Zach Booth. Netminder Josh Emmerson earned the win and pitched in with an assist on Verboons empty net goal.
Although not mathematically eliminated from OMHA's the Thunder are in a must win situation tonight vs. Brampton at Alcott.
