Midget Sunny Acre Farms, 2013-2014, AA (Halton Hills Minor Hockey)

The lineup has been announced for the coaches game on Saturday night. At 7:00pm. Ben Nicolucci will lead the Sr. rep coaches to battle vs the Jr. Rep Coaches.  There will be a silent auction, booster club, food, and a family skate at 9:00.  Please come out to cheer on Ben and help support the Butler Family.

The Sunny Acre Farms after losing in OT to AAA Clarington were a determined bunch on Saturday afternoon vs. AAA St. Catherines. Lead by two goals by Matt Simpson, strong goaltending by Matt Turton, the Thunder dominated the Falcons winning 4-1. Matt Hodgins and Quinn Harding getting the other two goals. As the game got physical, the Halton Hills team dominated that as well. Great win team!

Congratulations to the Orangeville Flyers for winning OMHA in three games over the Clarington Toros. Good Luck in OHF!

Despite a gritty effort the Sunny Acre Farms Midgets lost to Clarington AAA 5-4 in OT. Halton Hills had built a 3-1 lead in the second on goals by Mitchell Tickner after beating a Toro defenceman wide and tapping in his own rebound, a penalty shot goal by "crazy legs" Mat Hodgins who deeked and finished five hole, and Ryan Howard with his first of two walking off the side boards and finished low stick side.
