The Sunny Acre Farms after losing in OT to AAA Clarington were a determined bunch on Saturday afternoon vs. AAA St. Catherines. Lead by two goals by Matt Simpson, strong goaltending by Matt Turton, the Thunder dominated the Falcons winning 4-1. Matt Hodgins and Quinn Harding getting the other two goals. As the game got physical, the Halton Hills team dominated that as well. Great win team!
Something happened to the Saturday team as the same team did not show up on Sunday morning, maybe ate too much, or stayed up too late watching TV? The Thunder had no answer for the AAA Petrerborough Petes team losing 8-1. Brandon Gago with lone Thunder goal. Highlight of the game was Travis Green's breakaway, deek backhand NICE!
Although we didn't bring home any hardware, after it's all over there are many memories to leave Prescott with, it's one of a kind tournament,
