Hello Players and Parents,
Welcome to the Halton Hills Minor Hockey U10B Tryouts. We are emailing to advise you that the coach for U10B will be named when the tryouts are completed at the end of next week.
The team will be selected via independent evaluators with the support of the Association.
Your player tracking number can be found at the end of this email.
If STATUS reads “Released”
The player has been released from that division’s tryout.
Options:
The player may select another division to tryout for.
As per the OHF player movement policy, the player may decide to tryout for another Minor Hockey Association.
If STATUS is BLANK
The player is invited to continue to the next tryout.
If the next tryout is an exhibition game, the Head Coach will provide those “pending” with instructions indicating the exhibition game the player will attend.
During tryouts, if there is any additional information about the team or tryout process, you will find it here as indicated by notes from the coach.
After each tryout, the usual window for results should be within by end of day. If there is any excessive delay for any reason, there will be a note, or comment below under “Coach Notes to Players”.
Please Note:
OFFER OF POSITION
If a player is selected by the head coach, the player will be notified and offered a position on the team and if the offer is accepted the player will be expected to sign an offer of commitment.
24-Hour Response Window: The player has 24 hours from the time of the offer to respond to the head coach, confirming whether they accept or decline the position on the team.

**Please note that during the exhibition games your son may be asked to play defense, as we currently only have 4 players interested in the position. If your son is a forward and interested in trying defense, please reach out to me.**
Releases will be posted by 10pm on Wednesday May 14th. Please check back then for details and the roster for our game on Thursday vs Milton.
