Andrew Skuza Bio
I am a lifelong hockey lover and player, a middle school teacher, and a dad of two boys. From my earliest years growing up in LaSalle/Windsor, Ontario I’ve been on the ice, and I started coaching hockey in Halton Hills in 2021. Both of my boys are in the Thunder family, and it’s been a joy to share my passion with them, bonding over hockey, getting to watch them grow and develop, and cultivate their own love for the game. Through this experience in Halton Hills, I’ve met a number of tremendous families, made impactful friendships with other parents, and had the opportunity to coach a number of exceptional young players. I enjoy the grind that coaching a rep hockey team brings, and I am excited every time I go to the rink. Having the fortunate opportunity of being around young passionate players who would ‘go through a wall’ for their team, inspires me to continue the journey of challenging myself to be a better coach and person, every day. Go Thunder!
