Dave Wallace Bio
Hockey must be fun! I am a Georgetown resident and father of two kids. My daughter played with the North Halton Twisters and my son currently plays for the Thunder.
With a lifelong passion for the game, I bring years of experience as both a player and a coach. I played competitive hockey in Brampton during the 1980s and 1990s, where I developed a deep love for the game. I have coached boys’ and girls’ representative hockey in Halton Hills for the past 7 years. I emphasize the importance of hard work, discipline, and hockey IQ.
As a coach, my focus is on building well-rounded players, who not only have strong skills but also the right mindset. I believe that success in hockey—and in life—comes from a relentless work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Players on my teams can expect an emphasis on hockey IQ, attitude, effort and physical fitness. I will ensure that players understand the game beyond just skating and shooting.
I expect my players to give their best effort every time they step on the ice, to respect their teammates and coaches, and to embrace challenges as opportunities to grow. My goal is to develop players who are not only competitive but also smart, disciplined, and resilient—both on and off the ice.
