Martin Lefebvre
Martin Lefebvre Bio
I was born and raised in the West Island of Montreal and played a lot of hockey growing up. My love of the game amplified when I played for my High School, followed by some mediocre Junior C hockey where we all continued to lace up the skates because we simply enjoyed the game. During those years I learned how I liked to be coached, what I responded to the most, and the importance of positive leadership.
I played in competitive men’s leagues throughout my 20’s, prior to moving to Ontario, which continued to foster my understanding of the game. Family life then kicked in and I was away from hockey for several years until my son finally decided he wanted to start playing when he was 11 years old. This brought me back to my favorite sport and has impacted our family life in a positive way. It is amazing how many new, wonderful people we have become friends with since joining Halton Hills Minor Hockey.
During the 2023-2024 season I was the head coach of the U14 BB white team. With a focus on development, learning fundamentals, and sharing our passion of the game we successfully taught our boys to be better teammates and stronger players. Several of the boys from that team moved up to higher levels in the following season.
I work closely with the other coaches to teach the boys resiliency, composure and developing their skills. I am a student of the game that consistently reads and watches videos on best coaching practices, hockey systems, and development of young-adolescent players.
I was honoured to be selected as a head coach for HHMH and look forward to working with others to have a fun, successful, and rewarding season.Scott Engleby

Andrew Reddeman Bio
Andrew Reddeman has been an asset to Halton Hills Minor Hockey since 2013, coaching various levels and contributing significantly towards the growth of young athletes in the community. Andrew co-coaches the U18 BB Red team today, where his commitment and devotion to his players' development continue to shine through. Over the years, his teams have achieved an outstanding rate of success, including winning several tournaments and reaching OMHA finals during the 2016-2017 season. His coaching achievement also includes a Tri-County championship in the 2019-2020 season.
Andrew's coaching journey began long before he started working with his two sons playing hockey and other sports. He himself began in hockey as a goaltender at the young age of 10, an experience that has shaped his perspective on the game in a distinct way. He values the importance of a solid defensive foundation and believes that "good defense leads to great offense." This mindset guides his coaching philosophy, instilling discipline, organization, and team play in his players.
One of Andrew's finest moments as a coach was having the opportunity to sit on the bench with his son, a memory that reinforced the close bond they share through the game. It was a special moment that touched both the joy of coaching and the pride of seeing his son develop as a player.
Andrew works on the philosophy, "Attitude gets you there." To him, the correct attitude, hard work, determination, and a positive attitude is the formula for success in hockey and life. This attitude is what guides his coaching philosophy and how he relates to his players, so they know that success is a result of effort and perseverance.
As a non-parent coach, Andrew is deeply committed to being more than a coach he sees himself as a mentor and educator. He is committed to developing young athletes, not only their ability, but their individual development as well. His goal is to pass on his experience, love of the game, and dedication to hard work to the next generation of hockey players.
Andrew's coaching philosophy is based on building confidence, team spirit, and a deep understanding of the game. His commitment to the on-ice and off-ice success of his players makes him a respected and highly regarded member of the Halton Hills Minor Hockey community. Mike Bahr
Mike Baer - Bio
I grew up in Georgetown, Ontario and played competitive hockey my entire childhood until going off to College. I played my hockey as a forward. After minor hockey, I played in various adult recreational leagues in Georgetown, Brampton, Mississauga, Burlington area. I have coached in the Halton Hills Organization for the last 10 years, at the “A” Level for both 2008 and 2011 birth years.
My coaching philosophy is to create a positive environment that focuses on skill development and a lifelong love of hockey. The focus will be largely based on technical skills and individual tactics while incorporating concepts related to team play and strategy. I believe each player responds to different learning styles and it is important to understand how to connect with each player to maximize their development throughout the year. As this is competitive hockey, I also believe there is an element of commitment, hard work and being a good teammate that is expected at this level. Having a strong work ethic and team first mentality is important and will be a focus of our practices and communication to players.
I believe in clear communication with parents throughout the season which lays out the expectations of families and players as well as updates on our coaching priorities and team focus.Jordan Thompson
I’m Coach Jordan Thompson, and I bring over 27 years of experience in organized hockey. Throughout my lifetime, I’ve played or coached at various levels and gained a deep understanding of the game, which has shaped my approach as a coach. My goal is to create an environment where players can grow not only as athletes but also as individuals.
My coaching philosophy centers around three key pillars: team building, skill development, and fostering life skills that extend beyond the rink. I believe in the power of teamwork, so I place a strong emphasis on building trust and communication among players. We focus on working together, supporting one another, and understanding the role each player plays in the team's success. My ultimate goal is to create a culture where players are motivated to put the team first, and where they learn that collaboration is essential—not just in hockey, but in life.
When it comes to player development, I focus on mastering the fundamentals while also encouraging creativity and decision-making. Training will support the individual needs of each player, helping them grow at their own pace while challenging them to step outside their comfort zone. My aim is to develop well-rounded athletes who are skilled on the ice and have a strong understanding of the game's nuances.
Off the rink, I run my own business and work as a project manager. A lot of what I do mirrors coaching - helping people develop life skills that will serve them in their careers and beyond. I focus on instilling values like discipline, resilience, time management, and leadership, helping players understand how the lessons learned in hockey translate into school, work, and life.
Through dedication to developing both the athlete and the person, I’m committed to creating a positive, inclusive environment. My goal is to help players not only become better hockey players but also better citizens—ready to contribute to their communities in meaningful ways.
