Trevor Brodie - Bio

I am currently an assistant coach for the U10A Thunder team, as well as an assistant coach for the U8 Tier 1 Thunder team.

Prior to my 4 years coaching in Halton, I volunteered for 12 years as an assistant coach with the Guelph Giants, a special needs hockey team. Here I worked with a wide range of ages and skill levels to build hockey skills and knowledge, as well as a love for the game. 

For 16 years, I was a golf professional working at the top private and public golf courses in Canada. Throughout this time, I taught over 10,000 lessons to kids and adults in group and individual settings. I independently planned and ran junior clinics, and coached a junior team each year.  

I developed a passion for hockey at an early age.  Once I was at the rink it was tough to get me off the ice. I’ve played organized hockey for over 35 years, including Junior hockey in Erin. I’ve always been focused on being a lifelong learner and on continuous growth.  I am excited for the challenges ahead.
