"Thunder" Finish It Off Undefeated & Crowned Champions
The Halton Hills Thunder started day three of the tournament facing a tough team from Whitby. The Thunder played a strong team game and defeated the Wildcats from Whitby by a score of 4-2. With the win, the Thunder secured a spot in the championship game. Their opponent for the finals were the Kitchener Rangers, a team they battled to a 2-2 tie in the opening game of the tournament. The championship game was again, another full team effort that ended with a lopsided 6-1 win. The boys skated off the ice as CHAMPIONS and represented the Town of Halton Hills with an undefeated record throughout the tournament!
