Thunder invasion of Beast den...
This past
Friday, our team had the opportunity to take part in the Brampton Beast experience at the Powerade centre
and thoroughly enjoyed the night!
We started with a friendly exhibition game against the Milton Winterhawks where the team came out with a solid 5-2 win.
Parents and players enjoyed a quick team dinner, then the boys got to join the Beast on the blue line for the national anthems with each player getting their names announced as they came on the ice (photo).
From there, the team got to watch the game from their own private box and were very loud in their support of the Beast who came out on top of the visiting Reading Royals.
Even a couple of our Thunder parents took the spotlight by participating in the 2nd intermission shooting skills competition.
Our Thunder team would like to thank Matt O’Reilly and the Brampton Beast organization (ECHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens) for hosting us for such a fantastic evening!.
