"Thunder" Representing Ontario In Montreal
The Halton Hills Thunder travelled to Montreal as a representative of Ontario.
The Thunder opened their tournament on day one with a tie and a loss.
The day began with the Thunder battling the St. Catherine Coyotes (Quebec) to a 4-4 tie. The Thunder opened up a 4-1 lead in the game and eventually settled for the tie.
In their second game of the day, the Thunder were challenged to keep up with the Jersey Wolves (New Jersey) and fell 8-3. This game was the single cross over game where the Thunder had to face the older and A level squad from New Jersey.
After day one, the Thunder sit in second place of their division.
