GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY
Tonight, the Novice AA Thunder presented a cheque for $544.00 to the Georgetown Hospital Foundation as a result of the regular season "FEED YOUR PIGGY" Initiative. After every regular season game the Thunder players fed their pigs a toonie for every win and a loonie for every tie. The regular season ended with 14 wins, 10 losses and 4 ties. The main message to the team was playing as a team wins games and playing as an individual loses games. We hope we never have to use the facilities at the Georgetown Hospital but we count our blessings that it is always there if we ever need it.
