INTERNATIONAL SILVER STICK SEMI-FINALISTS
The Novice AA Thunder travelled to St. Clair Shores, Michigan this weekend to participate in the International Silver Stick Finals. The players played awesome and went undefeated in the round robin with wins over North Bay 5-2, Cleveland 8-1 and tying Georgina 2-2.
The boys played hard to the final whistle but came up short in the semi-finals 6-2 to the undefeated Detroit Belle Tire. The boys created memories for a lifetime with great sportsmanship and trading pins with the other 40 Novice teams from across Ontario and the USA. The players represented the Thunder Organization with nothing but class as people from the hotel, restaurants, arena staff and tournament organizers complimented the boys on their behavior and manners.
