The team had many great moments in December and early January. Everyone was shooting, passing, defending and playing hard to get to this point…the playdowns. They now face Hespeler, Center Wellington and Orangeville in the first round robin over the next 2 weeks.
In these articles we point out the goals, assists and players that are highlighted for their extra efforts…but what may not always be highlighted is that it takes every one of them to make the game what it is. They support each other from front to back and on ice to on the bench. They have heart, friendship, and focus….Team Stronger!

Halton Hills Thunder vs. Center Wellington Fusion
Score: 5 - 2
The game started off with CW Fusion scoring 1 in the first and 1 in the second. Thunder kept pressure on but did not answer with goals of their own until the last 10 minutes of the game. The game was evenly matched with everyone wanting the win.
The goals and assists were as follows;

• Jacob from Jayden and Melissa
• Noah from Chase and Evan
• Evan from Erik and David
• Erik from Riley
Player of the game went to Evan for his hard work and drive…great back checking and aggressive to the puck. Well done!
This game was just another example of how this team never gives up. Well done to Team Thunder!
