ATOM A THUNDER looking for donations of new/used hockey equipment including sticks!

The Halton Hills Atom A Thunder will be collecting new and used hockey to send to First Nations communities in northern Ontario.

The team will be accepting donations of new and used hockey equipment, and working with the Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service, it will be distributed to 30 First Nations communities stretching from Hudson Bay to the Manitoba border. Most of the communities are only accessible by airplane or by driving on winter roads over frozen lakes.

The collection will take place Saturday, Feb. 23 and Sunday, Feb. 24 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Mold-Masters SportsPlex.
